Conscious Breathing and Movement
Breathing may be done in a still quiet state or with movement.
Concentrative, diaphragmatic breathing may be done in a rested, quiet state. This method of breathing is a potent tool in restoring balance in one’s body. It activates the parasympathetic nervous system (calming mechanism) to restore a more relaxed state.
- In our modern society, most of our lifestyles have us spending too much time in an excited/stressed state. This causes a release of stress hormones that are helpful in short-term, emergency situations. However, over the long-term, staying in this mode and bathing in stress hormones leads to chronic disease
- This type of breathing is helpful for: hypertension, insomnia, anxiety, depression, hearth disease, headaches, pain, and many other chronic health concerns
Chaotic Breathing is a technique that facilitates the release of tension, the healthy movement of healing energy (Kundalini), and access to unconscious thoughts. This all can assist in one’s healing. This technique utilizes both the breath and movement.
Dance and Shaking are both forms of movement that facilitate the healthy movement of energy, raise your vibration (energy), release tension, and help make you more available to see and experience yourself and life in a different way.
