Biofeedback and Autogenic Training

What is Biofeedback? 

Biofeedback allows one to regain awareness and conscious control over his/her body and brain activity.  This awareness can be used to consciously alter and optimize blood pressure, muscle relaxation, heart rate, body/skin temperature,  and other bodily functions.

There are tools (including skin thermometers) used to give the client feedback on the extent to which they are relaxing and reaching a relaxed state.  It is in this state that one can regain control of his/her health.

At I Bar, clients may use skin thermometers and a biofeedback computer program called Heart Math to assist with their healing goals.

This technique has been used for:

What is Autogenic Training?

Autogenic Training is a healing technique developed by Dr. Johannes Schultz.  It involves a series of relaxation exercises to control your Nervous System to favorably affect your body/health.
